did Bon really said 'it's as if you're not human anymore'?? to Fushi who is immortal and can change appearances whenever he feels like it? he was never human

Lynx♥ • 1 year ago

It's just the way he's so casual about it is what shook Bon a little. I don't think Fushi himself fully understands what he achieved in such a short amount of time. My boy's like, oh there's a Nokker attack? No problem, omae wa mou shindeiru that bish. Instant K.O.

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

Fushi is trying too hard and not taking help as much. You could say Fushi is obsessed with winning against the knokkers that he is losing sight of things and the help around him. That he might even wear himself down. The closest thing to what Fushi is is a god. "You'll be ready when you can make an ocean" the beholder had told Fushi. Regardless Fushi isn't exactly human Fushi takes after humanity the most and feels most comfortable with it even after he tried to give it up when he became sea creatures he eventually came to his senses in the 40 years at the time that being the human boy was the identity that was most like him and more like his own body. I also like to point out the whole subject what does it mean to be human and have humanity? Fushi is often seen as human by those close to him. A mother, a brother, a mentor. These are the kind of people who stayed close to Fushi. Fushi has a lot of humanity like the fear of seeing friends killed or the guilt of losing companions. Fushi has a lot that defines his humanity even if he isn't human. His identity was created by it and built around it.

Sentient Beings will most-certainly feel closer to, have more in-common with, and, sense more of a «connection» with other «Sentient» beings after all. Aliens in the traditional-sense of extra-terrestrials coming in/from UFOs/UAPs are not part of the story as far as we can tell thus far, but, that sense of connection/closeness/commonality would still most-certainly be shared if he ever encountered & made friends with them of course (and I take it as a given that they are «sentient» due to being able to construct such Levitation-Craft thus termed UFOs/UAPs).

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

You probably read my second part which by the way you get pretty wrong on anything I wrote. LoL. Also to note I'm caught up with the entire manga so nothing I'll write is "theories."

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

I am not answering for taking any «test» that insists some specific answer is so-called right whilst everything else is deemed so-called wrong;

and you may want to look-up the differences between the definition of a «theory» versus a «hypothesis» ... theories are «backed up by facts» by definition (yet so many people use the term in such a manner that indicates aphasia).

For that matter, reading about «consciousness» from «non-fiction» sources can also be a good idea, when it comes to the topic of consciousness & sentient-beings (it's far deeper than nearly the whole entire world-population even realises; a good start on it would be «The Conscious Universe» authored by Dr. Dean Radin)...

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

You were talking about aliens which had nothing to do with anyone's comment or even the shows or even my comment. As for Fushi he's more about identity which was developed starting with Marche and supported by the people he met. Sure the show does have themes of existentialism. As for the knokker's they're also explained already that they come from the afterlife and are the fye that people are made up of. They believe they're suffering in life as all the remember when fye returns is essentially about remembering pain. This is why the knokker's want to kill everyone so they can release the fye and make sure it is never returned to the living. The rest of the concepts are on Fushi not being able to die while everyone else does. The struggles of being an immortal. Fushi's memories are also tied to the people he's cared for and lost. In terms without them Fushi does not have memories or an identity.

ASlso really don't need to read books about consciousness. Was a major in Anthropology (Study of Human Beings) and had studied in Psychology (Study of the mind) as well. LoL. I got it pretty covered on this stuff and various other fields as it's a little more then jack of trades. LoL.

As for theorize I don't need to theorize. I've read up to the of Arc 2 and there really isn't much else that isn't answered by that point. Arc 2 answers everything and creates a conclusion on everything. Even though supposedly we're getting an arc 3. Dunno what honestly we really have left tbh for arc 3 but I can guess due to how arc 2 ended and what one of the knokker's stated as well when Fushi resolved arc 2.

Mega-Chad-Type-Hero • 1 year ago

Definitions already known (have also studied Anthropology & Psychology but also went much further than just two subjects). And college-institutions primarily adopt a «materialist» view of consciousness which is really more of a cult-belief as is well-demonstrated in para-psychological literature (particularly with Chris Carter's publications such as in his «Parapsychology and the Skeptics» series and in another book... : «Why Materialism Is Baloney: How True Skeptics Know There Is No Death and Fathom Answers to life, the Universe, and Everything»).

Perhaps you do not «need» to «read books about consciousness» for all intents/purposes, for many people are happy being able to pay bills, keep a roof above head, put food on plates, watch animé, etc., certainly, that may be «fulfilling enough» that people do not feel a «need» for anything else, but, learning still exists beyond academic-institutions (and, I'd say, only after one «graduates» from «schools» does their «learning» truly begin)... plenty of people do take an interest, despite having graduated from college with the same or even multiple more degrees.

...even if author does not include aliens in story-line, not making attempts to explore universe is a waste of potential, not to mention, from very first episode, looked a lot like this all started from extra-planetary origin; questioning why they exist and whether or not their world is the only life-containing one is a natural question for sentient-beings; for Fushi to never encounter/gain vessels who never questioned life/existence beyond their own world would itself be necessarily unusual. Another curiosity is why Fushi primarily does those god-like acts of creation in original first-boy form rather than creating fruits/objects/items/etc., whilst in the form of March/Parona/animals, etc.; it's almost as-if the original boy with the dog/wolf was some sort of super-human compared to the other vessels from whom he only seemed to gain primarily physical-type abilities...

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

Guy your calling it a a cult for well researched facts while you bring up topics like materialism which you don't understand the definition and promote a book that defines cult belief and you attack psychology calling it a cult belief while promoting one of it's subjects from psychology like "consciousness" that you seem okay with and don't know anything about. LoL.

It's okay that you don't want to believe in education but you literally brought nothing up related to the topic I posted and replied to me and seemed to know nothing about what you were promoting. Further more "university" institute not college and we study facts not having faith in cult beliefs like a religion.

Yeah bon just thought fushi is a human immortal and seeing fushi like this is not human thing anymore

Cheesy Dale • 1 year ago

at first Fushi was a monster, then he learn to be a human when he met Gugu, and now he's a god

kaeyasupremacy • 1 year ago

I miss the times when Gugu was around

Kirito • 1 year ago

Gugu arc was the best

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

Almost. If you want to know about Fushi and even the beholder read ahead but it is a massive spoiler behind the 2 characters so be warned. It was the purpose of him to replace the beholder and the beholder wanted to become human to die living among his creations as one of them and give Fushi his full power when he was ready. The beholder was a god like entity that looked like symbolistic objects and was one of 6 if I remember correctly. He created the world and it's people and created the earthenware people to record things but they died out easily. He caused disasters for the people as well as helped them. They were like toys to him and imperfect and he got inspired by actions that people did like when they died and smelled bad they'd come together and he wanted to become like them settle with them and die with them. Hence he created Fushi from his Flesh so that Fushi would replace him and protect them. The end of arc 2 it seems the island Fushi was on got an appearance looking heavily of knokkers and another symbol in the sky. Possibly another god-like entity appeared. Though when offered the beholders full power Fushi rejected it. If he got the full power people who went to the after life could have been brought back like Joan the white haired boy. His fear was he'd become nothing essentially like the beholder himself however.

A god must have
Immortality (Yes)
To be a free soul. (Yes-no?, that black ghost is a problem)
And to have the power of creation. (Yes, but limited)

Kirito • 1 year ago

Fushi now has a new nakama a clay people was it that communicate using pots it's sad that her brother died of starvation probably because of that circus guy not feeding them and the nokkers destroyed their hometown

Psilonaut • 1 year ago

It seems to me as if the black guy is grooming Fushi to become the new God. At the beginning he said he wouldn't be around forever and his ability to sense everything on the Planet seems the same as Fushi with everything connected to him. This suggests he does the same but on a planetwide scale.

Kusuo Saiki • 1 year ago

I'm more surprised Prince Bon is still alive...

Kirito • 1 year ago

I think he died and now he has a new name

FruitPunchSadist • 1 year ago

I'm a little mad. I cried when they were going to execute him only for him to be saved the next episode.

Divine Confetti • 1 year ago

I think he means human as in his mindset. Before Fushi would tackle problems with a more human approach but now he’s achieved such a high a sense of omniscience that he seems like a whole new entity

Spo0on12345 • 1 year ago

I see, but when did fushi ever act or think human xD. He literally doesn't know romance or feel it

Divine Confetti • 1 year ago

He doesn’t know it but he can feel it in those balls of light that come out of people. He can’t reciprocate it yet but he understands and empathizes with other emotions and can get angry or sad when other people do

Lol yeah what is he even saying all of this now for after all this time seeing what extraordinary feats Fushi can accomplish, even create a new body for deceased people he knew, what human can do that, but I guess he got too used to being around Fushi seeing his human appearance and special abilities.

Billy Bob • 1 year ago

yea he has a stand too (Dark Guy)

ohmiodio • 1 year ago

Yes but up to that point his rationale was humanlike. he trascended that and Bon started to notice.

true-true. Fushi is pretty much jebus, son of God/MIB.

Fushi be like, I'm finally smart enough to understand the black one's hints.
Boy literally goes godmode 5 seconds later. This character development is bringing tears to my eyes. Fushi has truly grown a lot.

joblesshobo • 1 year ago

What do you mean other immortals? Dark one please explain.

Jack • 1 year ago

Don't wanna spoil it, but no high hopes I'd recommend lol.

Jacman99 • 1 year ago

Going to use a spoiler tag here since there’s a chance I might be right. I wanna assume that the immortals are ordinary people who get to technically become immortal after meeting Fushi since Bon is aware of Fushi’s revival powers.

Judgment526 • 1 year ago

That's quite the bomb dropped.

観察者 • 1 year ago

Heavy spoiler if you want your question answered: fushi meets 3 new people in the next few chapters these 3 people are who bon calls immortal, they are immortal in a sense that they have managed to fight through the pain of dying and have accepted continuously getting revived by fushi after dying at the battle of Renril

BlackReaper23 • 1 year ago

probably people with high skill that will literally train their bodies like Tonari and bond with Fushi

Nemesis Claus • 1 year ago

When say it Dark One instead of Kuro, it sounds like a sith lord

Billy Bob • 1 year ago

maybe it's the other characters that show up in the OP

the MIB?
he is literally god of the world. he was once something like the fae, but got bored and started creating stuff until he created the world and all living things.

Kino • 1 year ago

men in black!?
That means he's hunting aliens

Fushi clones? Maybe others are still just stones
